EN / Antonio Del Vecchio (Brindisi, Italy, 1997)
is a visual artist living and working between Southern Italy and Southern France.
He grew up in San Vito dei Normanni and left his hometown at the age of 19 to pursue studies in music, visual and performing arts in Bologna. In 2024, he graduated with honours from the École nationale supérieure de la photographie in Arles, France.
His practice moves between personal experience and ethnographic research, focusing on rural contexts across the Mediterranean, particularly in Southern Italy. Combining photography, performance, installation, and vernacular pictures, he constructs visual narratives in which intimate and collective memory intersect, questioning the transformations of rural environments and the imaginaries and identities that surround them.
